She’s a city girl and sets her books in Bristol, Birmingham and London, all places she knows well. These days, she lives with her partner in the West Country, in a house built like a never-ending staircase with rooms hanging off it. She wants her books to be accessible, and publishes her books in large print and dyslexia-friendly editions as well as standard paperback, ebook and Kindle Unlimited. ‘Bright Lies’ has also been recorded as an audiobook by award-winning narrator Eilidh Beaton.
